Josh, excellent sermon about change and how we identify the necessary needs for change in discerning pattern of behaviour. Some behaviours and sometimes demonstrate hypocrisy and sometimes demonstrate God’s Spirit at work. linking Matthew and Acts is quite valid from where I stand. Thanks very much.
Thank you for your word about patterns – I found in this as I also have a fascination for ‘pattern” – Wednesdays daily lectionary this week included Genesis 45 25 -28 and as I heard it read – I saw the story of the prodigal son and his father = ‘My son is alive – I will go to him” and later I connected Is 43 1-7 reading later in the week – Where God brings back his children from distant lands – it may not n=be a pattern but it has the quality of one, Thank you
