This workshop will be part of the process of clarifying our identity and distilling it into a new name for our church. It will be a hybrid event with online participation available for those who don’t live close enough to attend in person. It will be facilitated by Steve Clarke, whose professional expertise is in helping organisations with identity and branding/naming.
Date & Time: Sunday 18th January, midday to 3:00pm, with a lunch break (BYO lunch or buy nearby).
The venue for those gathering in-person is a comfortable ‘Conference Room’ on the ground floor of the apartment block where John Fowler now lives, at 499 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004. The Conference Room, which is directly behind the Concierge’s desk, will be available from 11:30am onwards. When you arrive, either John or I will be out the front to point you in the right direction. Tea, coffee and water will be available upon arrival and during the presentation.
Getting there in person
Public transport will be free on that day. Take any tram (except Number 1) travelling south along Swanston Street/St Kilda Road from Flinders Street station or the new Anzac Station to Stop 25 outside the front entrance to John’s place near the corner of Commercial Road.
If you are driving, most parking in St Kilda Road is free on Sundays, but not all. There is considerable variation and little apparent consistency, so check the signs carefully.
