We are gathering online and engage in an open space conversation on the question:
What are we learning
through this time of disruption
about what really matters
for the life, prayer and ministry of our church?
This year’s massive disruption to life as we have known it has forced us all to change and reconsider many of the things we do in our daily lives. There is both grief and relief, things lost and things newly discovered. The impact on our shared life as a church has been just as big. At some point, we will have to make decisions about what our church life will look like in the post-COVID future, but since that future is still a long way off, there is no rush. But as some of our recent preachers have reminded us, it is often in the in-between times that the Spirit is able to open us to seeing the truth about things we never noticed before. So now might be a good time to come together to listen to one another and share what we are learning. What has this time of disruption enabled us to see and learn about what really matters for the life, prayer and ministry of our church?
