This Sunday we are honoured to welcome as our guest preacher, Bishop Te Kitohi Pikaahu, a Maori Anglican Bishop of Te Tai Tokerau (Northland-Auckland) in Aetearoa/New Zealand. Bishop Pikaahu was ordained Bishop in 2002 at the age of 37 and remains one of the youngest Bishops in the worldwide Anglican Communion. Bishop Pikaahu is of Ngāpuhi descent.
Our regular Sunday gathering is currently happening online only, but it is not just a streamed telecast. Like our usual service, it is a highly participatory inclusive and healing blend of ancient and modern spiritual practices. After the service, we would normally share in a light evening meal together, but we haven’t worked out how to serve soup and bread online!
