Because the Great Paschal Vigil, held the night before, is our biggest and most important celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, this liturgy is much smaller and lighter. It originated as something we did outdoors around a Sunday morning brunch, and it still references that in the online imagery. Like all our worship gatherings, it now happens online, but it is far from just a streamed telecast. It is a highly participatory inclusive and healing blend of ancient and modern spiritual practices. For further details including how to connect and participate, see this page.
All welcome, regardless of age, race, religion, capability, sexual identity, or immigration status.
For those living in and around Melbourne, it will be followed at 10:30am by a physically gathered brunch, and therefore there won’t be the usual online social time at the end of this liturgy.
