A Sermon on Luke 11:1-13 by Nathan Nettleton (and congregation)
There is no written version for this sermon, but you can listen to the recording above.
The sermon was a result of an experimental exercise on our church camp this weekend. About fifteen members of the congregation got together, with me, for one hour to look at the scripture readings for the day and to identify what sort of sermon might emerge from them for us at this time and to begin discussing what questions such a sermon might address and what it might seek to say. At the end of the hour, I then had half an hour before our worship service to knock the fruits of that discussion into an outline and then preach it from the outline. So, if you want to know what a sermon written by a committee in an hour and a half sounds like, hit the play button above!
