The Great Paschal (Easter) Vigil is the biggest and most dramatic liturgical celebration of the year. The liturgy beginsn outside around a bonfire, moves inside for a series of history-of-salvation scripture readings, then this year there were two baptisms (a 19y.o. and a 60y.o.) and a confirmation, and then the Paschal Eucharist. Oh, and then champagne and hot cross buns.
