This Sunday we are honoured to welcome Simon Holt as our visiting preacher. Simon is Pastor for Care & Community at the Collins Street Baptist Church in central Melbourne. He is the author of several books and has written and taught extensively, especially in the area of the spirituality of everyday life. Prior to becoming a pastor, Simon qualified and worked as a chef, and his continuing passions for food, theology and the city inspire his writing, preaching and teaching.
Our regular Sunday gathering is currently happening online only, but it is not just a streamed telecast. Like our usual service, it is a highly participatory inclusive and healing blend of ancient and modern spiritual practices. For details of how our online liturgies are working and how to participate, see this page.
All welcome, regardless of age, race, religion, capability, sexual identity, or immigration status.
After the service, we would normally share in a light evening meal together, but we haven’t worked out how to serve soup and bread online!
