Our regular worship services are currently happening online only, but it is not just a streamed telecast. Like our usual service, it is a highly participatory inclusive and healing blend of ancient and modern spiritual practices. All welcome, regardless of age, race, religion, capability, sexual identity, or immigration status.
On Palm Sunday, our regular gathering around the Lord’s Word and Table takes a different shape as we commemorate Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem under the looming shadow of the cross. The service features an extended reading of the gospel account of Jesus’s final hours as the church’s lights are gradually extinguished until we are left sitting in the darkness in prayerful silence.
After the service, we would normally share in a light evening meal together, but we haven’t worked out how to serve soup and bread online!
